Welcome / Get Connected / Meet The Pastor Eric Posteluk and his wife Barbie are excited to launch a new Harvest Bible Chapel in Joliet, Illinois!

Eric was not raised in church, but at the age of 21, he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and God radically changed him! Eric and Barbie got involved in small groups and began to faithfully serve the Lord in their local church. Over the years, Eric has led a number of small groups, a youth prison ministry, and an evangelism ministry. He has also been involved in ministering to men in Cook Country Jail. He has a passion to see God bring together all types of people through the gospel of Jesus Christ, regardless of ethnic or socioeconomic background.

Eric had worked in the market place for many years. However, in August of 2002, God made it clear to him that it was time to leave to pursue full-time ministry. Eric enrolled in Moody Bible Institute and graduated with a B.A. (Greek language emphasis) in 2008. Shortly afterward, he participated in a pastoral internship at a local church before being asked by Harvest Bible Fellowship to help launch a new church in Joliet as the senior pastor.  In April of 2010 Eric graduated from the Harvest Bible Fellowship Training Center program that equips pastors to launch new Harvest Bible Chapels.

Harvest Joliet is set to launch in the Fall of 2010.

Eric loves spicy foods (Thai, Indian, Mexican, African), getting together with people, and laughing a lot. Eric and Barbie were married in 1995 and have four children: Corinn, Kiera, Karis, and Kendra.
